Duygu Demirlioğlu danced with the Arkadash Folk Dance Ensemble in San Jose, California. He taught the Yöre Folk Ensemble in Stanford, California. Duygu also taught workshops at the Boulder International Folk Dancers in Boulder, Colorado in 1975, a workshop in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1975, and a worksho in Austin, Texas in 1976.
Duygu obtained his Ph.D. and is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Division of Math and Science at the Holy Names University in Oakland, California.
Duygu lives in San Francisco, California and is president of the Turkish Educational Foundation in Berkeley, California.
