Gabriel Frontera

Gabriel Frontera was born in 1953 in Ariany, Mallorca. He is the director of the Mallorca School of Music and Dance, which has performed in Brazil, Germany, Korea, Puerto Rico, and Turkey. The group includes ages 5 to 81.
Mallorcans are stuck with the way of dancing that existed in 1932. They are very sensual dances, dances of courtship.
He took over the group in 1957 when the original director, Don Bertomeu Enseñat, retired in 2012.
Gabriel was a director of a branch of the Caixabank, and is now retired.
