Vicky Goodloe, is a native of Lexington, Kentucky, and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.A. in music.
She began dancing at the age of four and studied ballet, tap, international folk, Scottish highland, and country dancing.
She gained her Preliminary Certificate in Scottish country dance at the Teachers' Association (Canada) school in Kingston, Ontario in 1978, and her Teacher’s Certificate at St. Andrews University, Fife, Scotland in 1980.
Since 1973, she has been a guest Scottish Dance teacher and choreographer for classes, schools and workshops throughout the United States and Canada.
In 1981 and 1994, she received her Associate and Member Certificates in Scottish highland dance from the British Association of Teachers of Dance, London.
For several summers, Vicky served as a counselor at the Kentucky Lions' Blind Youth Camp where she taught dance to more than fifty legally blind youngsters.
Vicky is employed as a Physical and Occupational Therapy Technician at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
