Kalliopi Popi Mavrou

Kalliopi "Popi" Mavrou is the director of the Lykeion ton Ellinidon of Kalymnos, Greece, and has served as its president since 1990.

She directs both the Lykeion's dance and choral groups, and they have performed widely throughout Europe as well as in Greece. Popi's daughter, Anna Mavrou, is on the board of directors of Lykeoin.

She teaches dances from the islands of Kalymnos, Kos, and Symi.
