John Owen taught an English Country Dance Workshop at the Miami Valley Folk Dancers of Dayton, Ohio.
Because memories are leaky after twenty-five years as of 1989, it's appropriate to mention the name one who, whether he was at the founding meeting or not, was around early enough to be considered a founding member of the Pinewoods Morris Men.
Dances John has taught include Apley House, Female Sayler, Jack's Maggot, Old Mole, Parson's Farewell, Prince William, Rufty Tufty, Scotch Cap, and The Shrewsbury Lasses.
