Sidsel Rattso has been folk dancing in Norway since 1966. She served for two years on the council for folk dancing in Norges Ungdomslag, the major folk dance organization on Norway. She has been in charge of leading the dance programs for several folk dance festivals in Norway and has taught folk dancing in Minnesota since 1983.
Sidsel also teaches Norwegian language classes and is certified to teach French and English. She taught Norwegian as a foreign language at Moorehead State University in Minnesota and also teaches Norwegian to refugees in Norway.
Dances Sidsel has taught include Bygdedans, Gammeldans, Pols, Rull, Sangdans, and Turdans.
