Drs. Radomil "Radek" Rejšek and Eva Rejšková, from Prague, are among the most experienced Czech folk dance instructors in the Czech Republic. For many years, both were dancers and later leaders of one of the most famous Czech folk ensembles, the Josef Vycpálek Ensembel.
Their rich and varied experience gained over many years is put to good use in the Czech Republic and abroad (Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Canada, the U.S. and Japan). As well as pursing his life long interest in folk dancing Radomil was head of the Physical Eucation Faculty of Charles University in Prague for 15 years.
Dr. Eva Rejšková an accomplished pianist, was the Department Head of the Institute of Art Activity within the Ministry of Culture in Prague.
Dances Radomil and Eva have taught include Andulička, Bohemian Mazurka, Boleslav, Cerná Vina, Český Minet, Doudlebská Polka, Lašsky Mazur, Lašsky Starovávný, Mazurka, Myslivecká, Náchodsky Zámeček, Otče Náš, Podlízavá-Trojke, Polka Štěbetalka, Štébetalka, Trojke, Valašské Šotyška, Valašský Starodávný, Věnec, Vdovec, and Věnec.
