Sheila Sharpe has an extensive background in the varying levels of Israeli folk dance. Although she originally hailed from New York, she now calls Colorado her home. Sheila earned her master's in Physical Education/Dance.
Sheila taught an Israeli workshop at the Miami Valley Folk Dancers, Dayton, Ohio, in 1996 and has taught the Dance on the Water Folk Dance Cruises offered by Mel Mann.
Dances Sheila has taught include Bosmat, Debka Dayagim, Debka Mimunah, Debka Ramot, Debka Shachar, El Elohai Shamayim, Eretz Eretz Eretz, Eretz Israel Yafa, Erev Ba, Erev Shabbat, Gvanim, Halleluyah, Haminginah Sheli, Hora Na'Haria, Klayzmer, Mechol Halahat, Mishol Hapere (Israeli Lindy), Na'ama, Rokdim Yechafim, Shekedim, Sheleg Al Iri, and Shoshan Reichani.
