Phyllis Weikart

Phyllis S. Weikart, was one of this country's leading authorities on rhythmic movement and recreational dance. She taught, lectured, and conducted workshops and conferences for over thirty years.
Professor weikart was coordinator of the Adult Lifestyle Program in the Division of Physical Education, The University of Michigan. Her approach to teaching movement and dance was the direct result of her work with young children, adolescents, adults, senior citizens, and special pouplations.
